Items Available for an Additional Cost:

  • Food & Supplements (One-Time Purchase Required for Transition Home & Continued Healthy Development) – $148.79 (our discounted cost; normally $171.37): Our puppies are weaned onto pawTree Real Chicken & Oatmeal Recipe all-life stages dog food. Along with their food, our puppies also receive pawTree Gastro Pro Plus and pawTree Wild Alaskan Salmon & Pollock Oil daily to help them get off to a grr-eat start in life! Gastro Pro Plus is a complete combination of probiotics, prebiotics, digestive enzymes, and herbs that support proper digestion and bowel health. Wild Alaskan Salmon & Pollock Oil provides essential Omega-3 (including DHA) and Omega-6 fatty acids that are critically important to a dog’s and cat’s overall health, including heart, eye, ear, skin, coat, bone, and mental health, as well as healthy growth and development. DHA plays a leading role in fostering brain and eye development, and also helps to boost cognitive development. A study published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association concluded that feeding puppies (through a year of age) foods that are high in DHA resulted in better cognitive, memory, psychomotor, immunologic, and retinal functions than puppies that did not have DHA in their diets. We request that all of our puppy families purchase one of each of these from us in order to continue with these same products during the transition of their puppy going home. A sudden change in food can cause severe digestive upset, such as diarrhea and discomfort. Puppies will already be slightly stressed going to a new home and keeping him or her on the same food will help to minimize that stress and reduce the chance of developing diarrhea. We want the transition of your puppy going from our home to yours to go as smoothly as possible, and, let’s face it, a new puppy with diarrhea is not fun for anyone, especially the poor puppy! Therefore, a different food should not be given for at least the first month of the puppy being home and be sure to use the Gastro Pro Plus during the transition. You will receive one 10.3# resealable bag of pawTree Real Chicken & Oatmeal Recipe all-life stages dog food, one box of pawTree Gastro Pro Plus, and one bottle of pawTree Wild Alaskan Salmon & Pollock Oil.
  • Missouri State Health Certificate (only required for non-Missouri residents whose state requires it when bringing animals into their state) – $50.00* or $150.00*: All puppies will receive a health clearance from our veterinarian at their 8-week well-check (and beyond if they are older with additional well-checks when going home) at no additional charge. However, an additional Missouri State Health Certificate is also required for all non-Missouri residents whose state requires it when bringing animals into their state. They are good for 10 days if flying (or only 3 days with some airlines) or 30 days if driving. If flying home with your puppy please choose an airline that accepts a 10-day Health Certificate! There will be an additional charge of $50.00* for most families who have adopted their puppy prior to the puppy’s 8-week well-check. However, if you are flying more than 10 days from the puppy’s 8-week well-check, or if flying on one of the airlines that require a 3-day Health Certificate, or if adopting a puppy after they have already had their 8-week well-check, the cost is $150.00* since it will require an additional exam and fee with our reproductive veterinarian out of town in order to receive the Health Certificate.  (*These amounts are subject to change but are current as of August 2023.)
  • Snuggle Puppy Pack (optional) – $35.00 each (our discounted cost; local pick-up or delivery is free, otherwise shipping costs are extra): Snuggle Puppies help with transitioning puppies to their new homes. Our Snuggle Puppy Packs include one Snuggle Puppy with mom’s and littermates’ scents, one soothing Heartbeat, one heat pack, and 2 AAA batteries. Click here to learn more about Snuggle Puppies!

Master Waiting List – CLOSED: We are planning on retiring from breeding in order to have more time for our family so we do not plan on having any additional litters. Therefore, we are closing our Master Waiting List. Please visit our Nursery page for information on the puppies that we may still have available.

Litter Waiting List – $500 (Non-Refundable): Once a litter is announced that you are interested in, we would then ask for a Reservation Fee of $500 in order to be added to our specific Litter Waiting List. Payment can be made by ACH (bank) payment, debit card, or credit card (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club). No spot will be held on our Litter Waiting List without the Reservation Fee being submitted.

Final Payment: The remaining balance for your puppy, as well as any additional costs for products or services, must be made at the time of puppy selections (when the puppies are approximately eight weeks old) unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing in advance. Payment can be made by ACH (bank) payment, debit card, or credit card (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club). The only exception is that you can pay the balance in cash on Gotcha Day when receiving your puppy.

Boarding Fees (optional) – Cost Varies: Puppies will be ready to go to their new fur-ever homes when they are between 8-9.5 weeks of age. We try to schedule Gotcha Days on weekends, so the exact timing will vary for each litter, but the date that they are to go home will be scheduled well in advance. We are a normal, active family with children and we can also have more than one litter of puppies to care for at a time. Therefore, we ask that you please make every effort to pick your puppy up on your scheduled Gotcha Day as we are typically not able to keep puppies beyond that date. If you are not able to get your puppy on his or her Gotcha Day, and if we are able to keep him or her beyond that date, then a boarding fee will be required prior to receiving your puppy in order to cover the costs of any food, care, training, veterinary needs (such as additional age-appropriate vaccinations past Gotcha Day), additional Health Certificate, etc., that may be needed while still with us. Your 30-day free trial of Trupanion Pet Insurance (provided with each puppy) must be activated by you the day before your scheduled Gotcha Day. A signed waiver will also be required as we will not be held responsible for illnesses or accidents, and we will need your permission to provide veterinary care if needed. Any boarding must be approved by us in advance and the boarding fees will also be agreed upon in advance. Boarding fees are not included in the price of our puppies.

Delivery Fees (optional) – Cost Varies: We are not a commercial breeder, therefore, due to Federal Regulations as well as our own personal preference for wanting to meet all puppy families in person, we do NOT use third party transportation methods, such as flight nannies or shipping puppies via cargo. Please be aware of this before submitting an application. If you will require delivery to either your location (within a reasonable driving distance from St. Joseph, MO), or to our local airport (Kansas City International Airport – MCI), an additional minimal fee would be charged for this service in order to compensate us for our time and mileage. If you plan on flying home with your new puppy you would also be responsible for any travel expenses, such as airline tickets, an airline approved pet carry-on travel bag, any additional items required to keep your new puppy safe and happy during his or her journey home with you, etc. Please see our Adoption Process page for more information about our options for delivering and picking up your puppy.

Payments & Payment Methods: We will be in contact with you if you are needing to make a payment. For all payments, we accept ACH payments (bank transfers), debit cards, and credit cards (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club). In addition to these payment methods, we will also accept cash for the remaining balance of your puppy on your puppy’s Gotcha Day. We apologize that we can no longer accept checks of any kind as they can too easily be fraudulent. We process credit/debit card and bank transfer (ACH) payments through Good Dog. Depending upon the option(s) you choose when making a payment through Good Dog there may be added fees, but you can also make payments WITHOUT the added fees. The options available and how to change them can be confusing. We have created the image below as a guide to help with understanding the options you have when making payments using Good Dog, as well as how to change the options, if desired.

All payment transactions made through Good Dog are secure and encrypted, and Majestic Rose Goldendoodles, LLC never has access to your private financial information!
