Our Program

Welcome to Majestic Rose Goldendoodles!

Majestic Rose Goldendoodles, LLC is a small, in-home breeder of amazing Goldendoodles. We love our dogs, and we want the very best for them and their puppies! We focus on raising beautiful puppies that are healthy, intelligent, and well-socialized with wonderful temperaments. As allergy and asthma sufferers, it is also a priority that our puppies be allergy-friendly and low to non-shedding.

Our dogs and puppies are first and foremost beloved family members, and we are committed to their lifelong health and well-being. Our parent dogs come from excellent bloodlines and all of our dogs and puppies are hand-raised in our home as a part of our family. They are well-socialized with children and are accustomed to everyday active family life! We strive to place our puppies with wonderful forever families that will provide them with the love and care that they deserve.

We are an accredited Blue Ribbon Breeder of the Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA), which means that our parents pass the highest standards of health and genetic testing recommended by GANA prior to breeding, and also that we abide by their Breeder Code of Ethics and Breeder Policies and Guidelines. As members of GANA, we were able to help in determining the official Goldendoodle Breed Standard, which we strive to meet or exceed with all of our puppies! We have also been recognized by Good Dog as being a Responsible Breeding Program and as having “Excellent” health testing practices, which means that we demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of our dogs and puppies.

Our puppies are raised using a combination of the Empowered Breeder and Puppy Culture programs. We continuously educate ourselves so we can raise amazing, healthy, socialized, confident, and well-rounded puppies!

We reserve the right at all times to keep puppies from any litter as our Breeder’s Choice puppies. We also reserve the right at all times to prioritize the placement of puppies in a litter who may be suitable for therapy or service work.

Our Promise & Health Guarantee

The health and well-being of our dogs and puppies is always our top priority. All of our parents live in loving homes with their forever families. Our lineages include only the Golden Retriever, Poodle and Goldendoodle breeds. Prior to breeding, all of our parents are cleared of any breed-specific health conditions and genetic diseases (listed below) that could be passed along to their puppies. All of the puppies we raise are in the best possible health during their stay with us. We do everything within our control to ensure that you receive a healthy and well-socialized puppy that is free of disease, life-threatening defects and external parasites. In addition to the love and care we provide, all puppies receive age-appropriate deworming and vaccinations. They are examined by a licensed veterinarian who confirms that they are healthy and ready to go and live with their new forever families. A complete health record is provided with each puppy. In addition, all puppies are microchipped so that the puppy and all of its records are easily identifiable. Our complete Health Guarantee can be viewed here.

Genetic & Health Testing

Prior to breeding, all of our parents are cleared of any breed-specific health conditions and genetic diseases that could be passed along to their puppies. We will not breed any dog that is affected by any of these health conditions or genetic diseases. In addition, if a dog is a known carrier of any genetic disease we will not pair that dog with another known carrier of the same disease. This guarantees our puppies to be free from these inherited diseases. The breed-specific health conditions and genetic diseases that our parents are tested and cleared for prior to breeding include, but are not be limited to, the following:

– Hips

– Heart

– Eyes

– Elbows

– Patellas

– Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)

– Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever (ICH)

– Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS)

– Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Golden Retriever 1 (GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2)

– Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Golden Retriever 2 (GR-PRA2, GR2-PRA)

– Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

– von Willebrand Disease, Type 1 (vWD1, Pseudohemophilia, Vascular hemophilia)

ENS & ESI

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) are important aspects of our Empowered Breeder & Puppy Culture curriculums, and both are performed on days 3-16 of the puppies’ lives. These protocols are proven to make puppies stronger, healthier, and more confident, while also improving their life-long temperament and adaptiveness.

Advanced Puppy Curriculum and Socialization

Our puppies are introduced daily to different sounds, smells, textures, and various stimuli. We strive to raise puppies that are well adjusted and exposed to a multitude of stimuli and situations. Following the developmental stages of the puppies, we work with them daily to provide mental and physical challenges. From a new toy to an obstacle course, they will begin developing problem-solving skills and building confidence. This plays a vital role in the development of nerve strength (startle-recovery response), intelligence, and positive association to learning and training. Socialization is also a key component of our program. The more experiences a puppy has during critical socialization periods, the less bothered the puppy will be throughout life when confronted by new objects, animals, and people.

Puppy Temperament / Aptitude Testing

It is important to us that we honor the needs of both our puppies and their future families. Therefore, beginning with our 2022 litters, we will be performing temperament/aptitude testing when the puppies are approximately 7.5 weeks of age. Testing a puppy at this specific point in its development can give us a glimpse of the puppy’s abilities and needs going forward, which will also help families in choosing the puppy that is best suited for their family’s lifestyle and needs.

Lifetime Breeder Support & Re-Homing

We consider all of our puppies and their new owners family, and because of that we offer lifetime breeder support. We will make every reasonable effort to help you be successful with your puppy throughout its life. That includes consulting or providing resources on things such as health, nutrition, grooming, training, socialization, etc., both on an individual basis as well as in our Facebook community. It also includes our promise to always be willing to accept returns on any of our puppies throughout their lives at their owner’s request. Although adding a puppy to your family is a big commitment that we urge you to not take lightly, we understand that life happens, and we want to ensure our families that if something should ever happen in their life where they can no longer keep their dog (divorce, change of location, etc), then we will accept the dog back and either keep him/her ourselves or assist with re-homing. This is not a financial return or reimbursement on our part as there will be no charge to us for this service, and all travel expenses are the responsibility of the owner.

Spay & Neuter Policy

Our puppies are sold as family/companion pets only, and they do not convey with breeding rights. We will do everything within our power to ensure the health and safety of our puppies and their offspring throughout their lives, which includes making sure they never end up with a backyard breeder, puppy mill, or research facility. Therefore, we have a very strict non-breeding policy in our contract that must be signed prior to gaining possession of any of our puppies. The owner must agree to have the puppy spayed/neutered, at the owner’s expense, at the age recommended by their veterinarian, but by no later than eight months of age. The owner must also provide official proof of spay/neuter signed by a licensed veterinarian within 30 days of the procedure. The proof must be written on official letterhead from a certified veterinary hospital, and it must include the puppy’s description, breed, microchip number, and date of procedure.

Failure to spay/neuter the puppy prior to eight months of age will require the owner to pay the breeder five times the original purchase price for the puppy, and/or the return of the puppy to the breeder with no compensation of expenses owed to the owner. In the event that the puppy is used for breeding, the owner shall compensate the breeder an additional amount of $4,000 per puppy delivered as the result of breeding. The owner is responsible for any and all veterinary and transportation expenses, as well as any and all legal fees if legal action is necessary in enforcing this policy. Failure to spay/neuter the puppy by 8 months of age will also result in all health guarantees being deemed null and void.
